• Monday to Friday roster, based in Perth

• Transition to 8/6 roster in May 2023

• 6 months initial duration with potential to extend

About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking experienced Engineer for Project Delivery to join the team at Rio Tinto Dampier Salt based in Perth. The successful candidate will work a Monday to Friday roster working 8 hour shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Scope: - Project Engineering/Project management type role prioritising the Lake Macleod Jetty Stem Blast and Paint Project.

Finalising and facilitating project award.

Project budget, schedule and stakeholder management.

Supporting fabrication and supply works.

Providing generally SMP engineering support to identify and resolve technical issues.

Site, field engineering role where you'll be accountable to support quality, and provide technical support including directing the contractor toward how much repair work may be necessary.

Managing front end engineering study packages.

Skills & Experience Required:

Advantageous experience:

• A strong background in brownfields, and marine construction projects with site works experience.

• A good understanding of Rio Tinto purchasing requirements and SAP.

• Supplemental project management qualifications and experience.

• Senior Project Management - 8-10 years experience
