About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client, for an immediate start. This permanent full time position will hold a Monday to Friday roster, 38 hours per week. The client is a leading manufacturer of LED signage products for intelligent transport systems, infrastructure, advertising and traffic solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting our management team, you will assume responsibility for the generation of accurate quotes and estimates as well as the completion of tender documentation, conferring internally with Engineering and Production, reviewing and analysing projects briefs from clients, and following up post tender process.

• The quote and estimation process including client solution options using existing products or design of new product.

• Providing detailed, costed and accurate quotes within 24 hours of request. Quote requests may originate with the Project Mgr, General Mgr, or come direct from clients.

• Undertake full project estimation for bid and tender submission, adhering to deadlines established at project commencement.

• Accessing product specifications, office resources, previous projects and colleagues to identify estimate (or quote) inputs including componentry, raw materials, labour and transport / logistics.

• Liaising with clients to determine additional information for the quote and/or to answer any questions arising from the quote.

• Consolidate BOMs and existing supply chain to develop a Common Parts library / register.

• Maintain the library to ensure accurate pricing and contact details.

Skills and Experience & Qualifications:

• Have proven ability to tender on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent attention to detail, with high level written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Software - MYOB Exo, quoting software (essential) and CRMs (advantageous)

• Well-developed interpersonal skills with strong client focus.

• Current Australian 'C' class driver license

• Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
