• Hourly base rate of $34.78 + $10.43 per hour night shift allowance

About the Client

Established in 1994, our Client has grown to become one of Australia's leading suppliers of reinforcing steel products and services. Partnered with WorkPac,they are currently recruiting for experienced Overhead Crane/ Gantry Operators to join their company in various ongoing opportunities.

What you will be doing

You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 10pm - 6am, you will originally commence on day shift to complete your training on the machinery and then will transition to night shift. You will be responsible for loading & unloading vehicles of mesh, coils & accessories by forklift or overhead crane, conduct pre start checks on all plant equipment, use of loading PC & RF Scanners and pick and assembling building accessories.

What you will need

Hold a current QLD High Risk Forklift License and have experience operating a large forklift.

Minimum two (2) years experience of overhead crane / gantry operation or equivalent high-risk work license

Experience in steel or heavy manufacturing environment

Complies, under stand's and follows WH&S obligations in the workplace.

High level of self-motivation & ownership
