About the Role

WorkPac is currently looking for an experienced Senior Field Assistant to join the Rio Tinto Exploration team at Magnum mine in the Patterson region. 

As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in the coordination of personnel processing in core farm facilities including supervision of core farm technicians. Your duties will include, but not limited to;

• Perform / Train / Supervise â Core cutting, Specific Gravity, Core Orientation, Photography, Density, Mark up, Geotech Logging, and Sampling

• Management of the core farm facilities- offices, generators, toilet blocks, storage, and core processing facilities

• Co-ordination of the Sample despatch process

• Ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order

• Ensuring the purchasing and receipting of project requirements and services are met

• Collaborating with team members to ensure work and resources are allocated to meet project priorities and requirements

Skills and Experience

• Experience in a similar role

• C Class Manual Drivers Licence (Minimum) 

• Strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance
