About the Client

Our client has a global reputation for providing highly complex custom metal castings, machining and fabrication services for the mining and industrial industries.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a total of 6x experienced process workers to produce custom castings by doing the following tasks:

This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The role will involve prolonged standing, frequent bending and reaching forward with both hands, pushing/pulling and manipulating heave metal.

• Doing about 180 manual lifts of 5-15kgs of castings on/off the bench

• Able to operate 9inch grinder, 4-5 inch ringer, Pencil grinder, hammer & chisels and gauges to finish the castings.

• Operating our clients machines/tools in a safe and efficient manner

• General labouring

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working with heavy manual loads (min. 6 months)

• Strong adherence and understanding of safety OH & S policies and procedures

• Must provide either a COVID-19 Vaccine Immunisation History Statement/Certificate OR a valid Medical Exemption Letter

• Must have Full Working Rights in Australia

• Be physically fit and able to pass to D&A test

• Must be able to provide 2 previous work reference

Tickets and licences

• Must have current drivers licence and own reliable transport
