Field Engineer

About the role
We require a suitably qualified and talented environmental Field Engineer/Scientist to join our team in Brooklyn, VIC. Your role will involve completing field environmental investigations, maintain/monitoring landfill management equipment, gas monitoring equipment and leachate management systems, assist in preparing proposals and tenders, and completing detailed technical reports.

Key responsibilities as part of the role include the following:
- Conduct field programs, including supervision of subcontractors, collection of environmental data.
- Working with an integrated team to complete installations, calibration, testing, servicing and maintenance of landfill gas collection systems and gas monitoring equipment.
- Collate and manage laboratory and field data including laboratory liaison regarding quality assurance/ quality control (QA/QC) measures.
- Compile and interpret laboratory and field results for inclusion in technical reports.
- Assist in the writing and preparation of technical reports and proposals.
- Commitment to customer service.

Qualifications
- A degree in environmental science, environmental engineering or similar.
