Field Service Technician


About the Job

We have a permanent, full-time opportunity available for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our clients team in Chinchilla. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will -

Carry out general field service and diagnosis work on all equipment
Perform mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans while upholding the integrity of the equipment and ensuring safe operation is not compromised
Provide feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements
Record parts usage, equipment monitoring and time records

Desired Skills and Experience

A trade qualification: mechanical, hydraulics, fitter or auto electrical;
Strong diagnostic, fault finding and problem-solving skills;
Current driver's licence;
Exceptional communication skills with a customer service focus;
A "can do" attitude to provide high quality service to our clients;
A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised;
Rental/Hire Industry experience will be highly regarded;
Forklift, EWP or OHS cards/licences are desirable, though not essential.
