About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking a Finance Support Officer to join our leading Mining Client for a casual position for an immediate start. This position will start on a 6-month initial contract with potential to move to a permanent position. This position is based on site in Coppabella, Accommodation (Camp) and Meals will be provided. Residents from Moranbah, Mackay and Clermont are encouraged to apply. The roster offered is 5:2, 4:3 or 4:4 for the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the team in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.

• Processing site timesheets ready for payroll processing

• Financial and budget reporting

• Review and process reimbursements

• Creating and update spreadsheets of transactions

• Invoicing

• Ad-hoc finance support duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous exposure in finance support tasks such as Payroll support, Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable

• Experience in General Administration

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems efficiently.

• Mining industry experience (preferred)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11, or Willing to Obtain
