About the Role

Opportunity exists for a Mechanical Fitter working in either CHPP or Field Maintenance on a mine site in Blackwater. The successful candidates will be working a lifestyle roster and completing 12 hour shifts. Accommodation and meals are supplied.

An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential. It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of repairs and routine maintenance

• Hazard identification and trouble-shooting

• A willingness to work rotating rosters

• Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment

Skills/Experience

• Trade Qualification/Skills Listings (Signed)/RIIs

• Current Standard 11 Induction

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Current Driver's Licence

• Sound Work History
