• $32 p/h (base rate) -overtime paid at penalty rates

About our client

Involved in the production and distribution of steel products across various parts of the country, our client has seen an increase in workload resulting in a high demand for workers. Their yard is based in Ormeau (Queensland) and they have multiple vacancies for yard hands/forklift operators on their morning shifts.

What you will be doing

As a member of the crew you will be primarily responsible for general yard work and forklift operation within the yard. Your core duties will include:

• Loading and unloading trucks with steel packs

• Slinging loads

• Locating packs in the yard to prep for delivery

This is an ongoing position with an immediate start whereby the candidate will with also have the opportunity to move into a full-time/permanent position with the company.

What you will need

• Ability to complete labour intensive tasks

• Forklift licence

• Driver's license + transport

• Willingness to be part of a tightly knit team

• Strong work ethic

• 2 x work-related references
