• $29.80 per hour plus penalties

About the role

Client requires experienced Gate Person for work on major Adelaide rail project. Work will be on the Ovingham Rail Crossing Project, within DPTI and ARTC rail lines at times

Duties and Responsibilities

• Co-ordinating all incoming and outgoing vehicles to site

• Record keeping of all deliveries

• Inducting new drivers to site processes

• Check credentials or approved roster before admitting anyone to site.

• Directs visitors and trucks to various parts of site.

• Inspects outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or products.

• May record number of trucks or other carriers entering and leaving.

Skills/Experience

• Must have a current WZTM ticket

• Have strong reading and writing skills

• Confident on a 2 way radio

• Must have drivers licence and own transport

• Australian work rights

• High regard for safety

Must be able to complete a full Pre Employment Medical including D & A testing prior to commencement if required
