WorkPac are currently seeking a Geologist for a short term assignment near Kalgoorlie, WA.

Our client is seeking a geologist with aircore drilling experience to manage the day to day drilling operations, log the geology and coordinate the sampling and submissions to the lab. This is a short term assignment of 3 weeks commencing on the 2nd October, Ideally you will be Kalgoorlie based but applicants from Perth will be considered for a FIFO opportunity.

About you:

The successful individual will have previous experience within mining rig geology. Key requirements include:

• Bachelor of Science in Geology

• 2 to 3 yearsâ field experience

• Understands aircore drilling

• Previous exposure to Australia mine sites

• Ability to work independently in a remote location

• Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills

• Current Drivers License

• Right to work in Australia
