About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an Injury Management Coordinator based within Bengalla Mine Site for an immediate start. This position will hold a Monday to Friday roster and full time hours for an initial 6 month contract with competitive rates available for the successful applicant. Our client is seeking a highly motivated, organised and logical person with an ability to think outside the box to improve process and systems, to meet WHS obligations, and build on their organisational culture that supports their employees. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and understanding of WHS and Injury co-ordination and a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety. They will have effective communication skills with an ability to engage and consult across the business as well as with external stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Health and Safety records and documentation

  • Assist with H&S Monthly Report development

  • Assist with safety requirements onsite

  • Onsite injury treatment - first aid, referrals, etc

  • Facilitate Injury Management & Return to Work programs for site personnel

  • Monitor and co-ordinate onsite medical compliance

  • Assist with Fitness for Work testing

Skills & Experience

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety

Drivers Licence

Previous proven experience within return-to-work& injury management

Mining experience strongly preferred although not essential

NSW Coal Board Medical (Preferred)
