About the Client

Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market and largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

What You Will Be Doing

In this position you will be working as a Diesel/Mechanical Fitter on an open cut coal mine in the Bowen Basin area. Candidates are required to have Cert III in Heavy Mechanical or equivalent. You must have 12 months experience working with Caterpillar, Komatsu, or Hitachi equipment. DIDO and FIFO options from Cairns and Brisbane with accommodation and meals provided. You will be working a 7/7 roster of straight days and nights.

What You Need

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Diesel/ Mechanical Fitter

• Coal Board Medical, Standard 11 and current Drivers Licence

• Trade Qualified Certificate

• Must be physically fit & able to perform manual tasks
