About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking experienced Heavy Duty Fitters for ongoing FIFO roles at Rio Tinto's West Angeles mine site. Reporting to the sites Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will repair and conduct preventative maintenance, fault diagnostics and breakdown repairs on mobile fleet out in the field and workshop. You will also inspect and determine equipment condition and assess its suitability to return to service. The fleet of heavy mobile equipment of which you will need to have experience on are;

Main role is service and repairs to the following assets

  • Cat 16M & 24M Motor Grader

  • Cat D11R & 11T Track Dozer

  • Redrill SKSS-16

  • Caterpillar MD6420B drills

  • ATLAS COPCO D65 drills

  • Hitachi EX3600, EX5500 & EX5600 excavators

Skills and Essential Attributes

  • Heavy Duty Trade Certified

  • 3 + years post trade

  • WA C Class Drivers Licence

  • Australian Rights to Work

  • Good working attitude

Preferred

  • HR Drivers Licence

  • High Risk - EWP & Forklift

  • Confined Space
