About the Role
Our Client Rio Tinto Coal & Allied is looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Fitter for work on their Hunter Valley mine site.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance, servicing and diagnostic on large earth moving equipment .

• Commit to 12 hour shifts, rotating roster with day and night shift and weekends

• Working on Caterpillar and Komatsu Trucks, Dozers, Graders and Excavators.

Skills and Experience

• The successful applicant will have a minimum 1-3 years experience carrying out repairs, maintenance servicing and diagnostic on large earthmoving equipment.

• Hydraulic and engine diagnosis skills would be highly advantageous.

• The successful applicant must have a strong focus and adhere to safety in the workplace.

• Must hold a C Class Drivers License

• Current Order 43 Medical or able to complete

• The successful applicant must hold the following tickets or willing to obtain:

  - Working in Confined Space

  - Working at heights
