What You Will Be Doing

WorkPac currently has positions available for both experienced and new to industry diesel fitters at Rio Tinto's Brockman 4 mine site.

Reporting to the site's Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will repair and conduct preventative maintenance, fault diagnostics and breakdown repairs on mobile fleet out in the field and workshop. You will also inspect and determine equipment condition and assess its suitability to return to service. The fleet of heavy mobile equipment of which you will need to have experience on are:

• Komatsu 830E Electric Drive Dump Trucks

• CAT 777 & 785 Water Cars

• CAT 992 and LeTourneau Loaders

• CAT D10 & D11 Dozers

• Hitachi 2500, 3600 & 5500 Excavators

What You Will Need

• Heavy Diesel trade qualification

• Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
