About The Role

WorkPac are seeking a HME Reliability Engineer to join Rio Tinto AMES (Asset Management and Engineering Services) at Brockman 4 on a FIFO 5/2 4/3 roster.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Champion defect elimination and reliability engineering processes for Heavy Mobile Equipment.

• Lead and conduct high level root cause analysis (RCA) for mobile asset failures.

• Analyse Equipment performance data to identify and implement reliability improvement initiatives.

• Recommend strategies to support high levels of asset safety, reliability and integrity.

• Provide technical engineering support to site maintenance departments.

• Execute technical based projects to improve fleet performance.

Skills & Experience

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.

• HME reliability engineering experience in the mining industry.

• Able to work collaboratively across a range of stakeholders and operational teams.

• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.

• Practical experience and an understanding of reliability concepts.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety.

• WA C Class Drivers' license.
