About the Role:

Workpac are seeking an experienced HR Senior Advisor for a full time, permanent position with our leading mining resource Client based in Brisbane.

An exciting opportunity has become available HR Senior Advisor for an on-going position within the People and Sustainability team. The successful candidate will be required to manage and respond to HR queries related to the full employee lifecycle. You will look after 250 group members and will work closely with the leadership team to drive employee development and growth within the company. This is a full time position based at our Clients Brisbane CBD office. Some travel to various mines sites across QLD and NSW will be required.

Accountabilities:

• Manage and respond to HR queries related to the full employee life cycle

• Assist in disciplinary matters and conduct workplace investigations

• Coach our leadership team to drive results through their people using data driven insights and metrics

• Interpret awards and legislation to support employment related matters and provide pro-active guidance and support to leaders

• Actively promote and demonstrate commitment to Zero Harm.

To be Successful in this role you will need:

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources

• Strong generalist HR experience working within a mining contractor environment or similar

• Demonstrated experience handling complex workforce matters concisely and independently

• Ability to influence and positively engage with all levels in the organisation

• High level of business acumen and deep understanding of core drivers of business

• Contemporary analytical and process/systems approach to Human Resources Management

• Proficiency in MS Office applications â particularly Excel & Word

• Be able to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
