HRIS Support Officer
9 Day Fortnight / Working in Logan / Leading Council Client
About the Role:
In partnership with our leading council client, WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced HRIS Support Officer based within Logan. This position will be 8 am to 5pm working a 9 day fortnight on a casual basis and will be a 6-month initial duration, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
??? On a fortnightly basis, review and action salary progressions
??? Undertake bulk data entry, assist in creating reports including:
??? Adhoc reports for Management as required
??? Recruitment reporting
??? Monthly snapshot reports and graphs
??? Update HRIS intranet content including:
??? Monthly and quarterly People and Culture standard reports
??? Production of branch specific organisational charts
??? Maintenance of the People and Culture intranet page
??? Monitor and action MyHR inbox and adhoc requests in line with level of responsibilities.
??? Provide accurate information as it relates to Council's HRIS, whilst abiding by necessary privacy regulations and with a high level of customer service.
??? Undertake research and investigations to support recommendations and actions related to employee/positions changes within the HRIS.
??? Collect and review new starter paperwork at induction
??? Provide support in the preparation, research and input of the following HRIS information:
??? New starters and Internal transfers
??? Higher duties allowances
??? Assist with project work, including the development of the HRIS.
??? Undertake any other duties as are reasonably within the limits of the employee's skills, competence and training.
Key Requirements:
??? Demonstrated experience in working within a systems environment. Human Resource Information system, or payroll
??? system experience would be highly desirable.
??? Demonstrated resilience and tact in the provision of customer service using highly developed communication skills.
??? Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
??? Demonstrated experience in undertaking research to facilitate effective decision making.
??? High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
??? Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
??? Ability to analyse and interpret information relevant to the application of human resource policies, procedures and awards.
??? Intermediate level of competence in MS Excel, including the use of formulas and formatting.
