Our Valued Client is a leading provider of construction and building services including concrete services, building construction, building maintenance, plumbing and waste management for mining and commercial clients.
About the Role:
WorkPac is currently seeking as experienced HSE Advisor. This is a predominantly site-based role assisting our management team in safely executing various types and sized projects undertaken by the business. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, the HSEQ Advisor will be responsible for upholding our HSEQ culture which places the welfare of our workforce as the number one priority.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assist with investigation of all HSEQ hazards/incidents and any other organisational non-conformances
Develop HSEQ documentation
Facilitate and conduct pre-start briefings, risk and hazard assessments, toolbox talks and incident investigations
Performing workplace inspection, in-field auditing and asset inspections
Promote, develop and foster the HSEQ ethos of NWMC
Provide HSEQ expertise and continual improvement feedback to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 2 years in a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project
Technical knowledge of construction, building and civils processes
Strong communication skills
