About the Role:

WorkPac is currently seeking a HSE Advisor to join our leading Mining & Resource client based in Gladstone for an immediate start. This position will be an initial 9 months in duration, with view for extension and is responsible for providing Health, Safety & Environment support to staff and contractors to delivery a safety shutdown program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Educate and support management on health and safety matters

• Analyse data and ensure safety compliance

• Support and participate in investigations

• Risk Register reviews

• Deliver strategic safety initiatives

• Safety improvement initiatives

• Conduct health and safety assurance and governance activities

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant Health and Safety Qualifications or demonstrated experience in operational health and safety role

• A strong commitment to safety

• Strong communication and skills

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite

• Current C Class Drivers Licence
