About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a Zero Harm HSE Advisor for Downer to support operations to ensure robust zero harm processes are implemented and followed. Perth based, Monday to Friday.

Duties include:

• Liaise with Zero Harm and Quality Manager, Operations Manager and Regional Superintendents regarding HSE issues.

• Advise and assist line managers on all issues relating to implementation, monitoring and effectiveness of HSE initiatives.

• Promote and support continuous improvement across site.

• Performing HSE audits and follow up actions as required.

• Assist with change management and risk assessments.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ yearsâ experience in a similar role within mining

• Minimum Cert IV in Health & Safety

• Strong experience in coordinating site based occupational health, safety, and training activities.

• Previous experience coordinating workers compensation and rehabilitation.

• Experience in coordinating and undertaking HSEQ audits.

• Strong reporting skills with high attention to detail

• Strong organisational skills and ability to foster collaborative working relationships.

• Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (preferred)

• Qualifications in Hygiene (preferred)
