4 on/5 off, 5 on/4 off, 5 on/5 off lifestyle roster (day /night rotating)
$66.00 an hour Flat Rate

About the Role
WorkPac are currently looking for a Trade qualified HV Electrician to join our client to work as part of the project maintenance team at an open cut coal mine in the Gunnedah Region of NSW.

Key Role Tasks:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the role is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of our fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment.

Working as part of a team to ensure minimal downtime of production equipment
Routine servicing and maintenance of all equipment both site workshop and field based
Electrical diagnostics
Fault finding and trouble shooting
Complete all maintenance administration requirements in a timely and legible manner
Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings
Participate in hazard identification, risk assessment and JHAs (Job Hazard Analysis) and SWP?s (Safe Work Procedures) where necessary for specific work areas.

Role Requirements

Trade qualification (Australian recognised)
High voltage switching ticket (Refresher within the last 2 years)
Previous Ultra-Class Electric Drive Haul Truck experience
Current drivers? licence
Strong electrical diagnostic skills
Capacity to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Excellent attitude towards safety and commitment to zero-harm
Self-motivated and strong work ethic
Working at Heights Certification and High-Risk tickets (Dogging/Rigging) (advantageous)
