HV Mechanic

About the Role

An ongoing opportunity exists for an experienced Truck Mechanic in our clients Newman workshop.

Reporting to the Light Vehicle Supervisor, you will be carrying out scheduled servicing, break down repairs and general maintenance on the prime mover and truck? fleet which includes:

  • Kenworth

  • Western Star

  • Hino

  • Isuzu

  • Mack

  • Volvo

  • Mercedes

The successful candidate will be required to be versatile, flexible and able to work on other small machinery such as generators and auxiliary mobile plant if needed.

Requirements

  • Trade Qualification in Light or Heavy Automotive Mechanics

  • Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)

  • 2 years demonstrated experience in a mining environment
