About the Role

Our client is currently looking for a few general labourers and NDD operators to join their busy depot in Mackay, QLD

Pay rate: $38.45 p/h plus penalties and super

Day shift: 7am to 5pm (Mon to Fri)

Our client is striving to be more diverse with their teams so at this stage female applications will be given priority.

This role would suit someone who is wanting to gain experience as a general labourer or NDD operator within the waste industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carrying out industrial cleaning tasks to clean out waste bins

• Operating a high pressure water blasting machine to clean out bins/pipes/drains/tanks

• Using the hydro-excavation machine to carry out non destructive digging

• Concrete demolition duties

• Vacuum loading

• Any other general labour duties as directed by the client

• Follow our clients safe work procedures and OH&S regulations

Skills and Experience

• Experience with doing industrial cleaning or vac truck driving preferred

• Must have a car license

• Confined space entry and working at heights ticket (ideal)

• Willing to listen and follow our clients direction

• Good work ethic - be reliable and turn up to work

• Be fit and able to work long hours as well as carry out the duties listed above

• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test

• Must be double vaccinated against COVID-19/Medical exemption letter

• Need to have your own car and PPE

• Full working rights in Australia (role has full time hour - not suitable for people who have limited working restriction hours on their VISAs)
