WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Reporting to the Coordinator for Public Works, this role will allow you to become part of a busy community operation. You will be working a Monday to Friday arrangement so you can enjoy all the region has to offer. Bring your previous Trade and Infrastructure experience to the table and progress your career. You will be commercially astute as well as driven by safety and environmental outcomes.

Duties included

• Maintain civil infrastructure, to include the water and sewage networks of the Authority so that the level-of-service targets in the asset management framework are met

• Ability to apply legislation relevant to the work area when managing Town Projects and Contractors

• Undertake plumbing inspections and provide approvals on new and existing infrastructure as well as carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities

• Assist the Works Coordinator with the administration of budget and procurement processes

• Contribute to improvement in methodology, procedure, process, equipment, and resources

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Trade Certificate (Cert III) in Plumbing or similar

• Knowledge and ability with Water supply, Plumbing and sewerage maintenance

• Contractor management experience along with the ability to be proactive in working to deadlines and budgets

• Full working rights within Australia
