About our Client

Our client is a well-reputed major International Mining Company. Located 560 kilometres north of Adelaide, it is one of the worldâs largest deposits of copper, gold and uranium and it also has a significant deposit of silver. This site operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing quality mine geology services and working collaboratively with the broader Mining Team to maximise return from the operation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the technical department to implement mining methodology that minimizes dilution and maximises recovery of economic resources.

• Collate and deliver accurate production and geological models, data, forecasts and associated reports within agreed timeframes to provide management guidance with progress/status against outlook, forecast and budget.

• Contribute to the definition of short, medium and long-term mine exploration programs to extend the Life of Mine (LOM) and increase reserves and resources.

• Support, where appropriate; grade control and near mine exploration drill programs.

• Document and define controls on mineralisation through mapping, reports and presentations to build a bank of quality historical data and knowledge for current and future reference.

• Enable a culture of Zero Harm;

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have the following: -

• Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology

• Previous practical experience in Underground Mining is advantageous

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and mining software

• Possess a Valid SA C Driverâs License

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
