About the Client

Our client is a leader in manufacturing of water pipe lining systems throughout Australia delivering specialised Pipe lining and coating at a custom built plant in Rutherford.

About the Role

As a leading hand, you will be supervising a small crew of trades assistants in the surface treatment division of our clients fabrication workshop.

Duties and Responsibilities

Delegate tasks effectively.

Communicate with both skilled trades assistants and qualified boilermakers/welders.

Monitor and supervise the crew.

Ensuring that everyone is adhering to the clients safe work practices, policies and procedures.

Operate hand tools as required.

Operate forklift as required.

Ensure that tasks are completed on-time.

Be flexible to work overtime if required.

Skills and Experience

• Right to Work in Australia

• Must have a current Forklift licence (High Risk ??? Overhead Crane ticket advantageous).

• For people who have not worked in a fabrication/water pipe lining environment, training will be provided.

• Demonstrated work history showing that you have been a leading hand/supervisor before.

• Must be able to work to a set timeline.

• Must be open to learning new things.
