About the Client

Specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of roof trusses for new homes, our client is looking for Production Workers to move into an ongoing role based out of their Redland Bay (QLD) yard. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to part take in a site tour prior to commencing, where they can see first-hand what the position entails and meet the supervisor.

What you will be doing

As a Production Worker you will be required to work Monday - Friday (weekends optional), committing to a minimum of 8 hours a day. Your core duties will revolve around the production of timber trusses used for new houses, focusing on tasks such as;

• Basic hand/power tool use

• Consistent use of circular saw

• Manual lifting of trusses throughout allocated parts of the yard

• Interpreting job specifications

Prior to commencing on site, successful candidates will be required to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen.

What you will need

• Must be skilled with hand tools & power tools

• Must be physically fit for all labour duties

• Have a high standard for safety

• Must be reliable and available for ongoing work

• Driver's licence and reliable transport

• Strong work ethic

• Ability to work as part of a closely knit team
