About the Role

An ongoing opportunity exists for an experienced Dewatering Maintainer to carry out maintenance, breakdown and installation work associated with the dewatering infrastructure at Greater Brockman, specifically service and repairs to de-watering generators.

Your duties will include;

• Carrying out scheduled dewatering maintenance

• Service and repairs to de-watering generators

• Responsible for identifying critical infrastructure spares and maintaining accurate inventory

• Providing operational feedback to supervisors and being responsible for following Rio Tinto Iron Ore safe work practices

Skills and Experience

• Diesel Mechanic Qualification

• C Class Manual Drivers Licence

• Experience with stand-alone power generation and maintaining submersible and sump pumps

• Strong fault finding ability

• High level of safety and a strong desire to be apart of a proactive team

Strong desired;

• Experience with Cummins engines, Generators, Breakdown, and maintenance

• PLC experience

• Cert in electrical instrumentation highly regarded

• Dogging and Vehicle Loading Crane High Risk Work Licence

• Experience working on dewatering infrastructure

• Mobile plant operating experience- Excavator, Front end loader, Skid Steer

• In pit driving and AHS exposure would be advantages
