About the Role

WorkPac are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Assistant/Storeman for our clients Headquarters and Warehouse in Dandenong South. This is a great opportunity to grow within their team in a busy and hands on environment.

This role is casual but for the right candidate there is the view for a permanent position.

You will be working Monday to Friday day shift with full-time hours and occasional weekend work.

The pay rate is $31.00 per hour base rate with penalties.

You will be required to assist the warehouse team in all aspects of receiving and delivering goods. You will be responsible for stock management and warehouse inventory. Heavy lifting and manual handling of stock is a day to day task and essential in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading trucks

• Showroom transition

• Stock and inventory rotation

• Forklift/Order Picker driving

• Unloading containers

• Occasional truck/van driving to deliver goods

• Receiving & dispatching of goods

• Customer service

Skills & Experience

• Forklift & LO Ticket (mandatory)

• MR Drivers Licence (preferred)

• Physically fit as heavy lifting involved

• Prior experience in warehousing/forklift role

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Experience with Warehouse Management System
