About Our Client

Established in 1994, our Client has grown to become one of Australia's leading suppliers of reinforcing steel products and services. Partnered with WorkPac, they are currently recruiting for experienced Steel processors/Machine operators to join their company in various ongoing opportunities based in Pinkenba.

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking Machine Operators for a steel processing plant base in Pinkenba. You will be required to work Monday - Friday and will commence in the AM position working the hours of 5.30am - 2pm, then once trained, you will move to the afternoon shift role with the hours of 2:00pm - 10:00pm. This role will include conducting pre-start checks, operating steel processing machinery including off coil, shearlines and bending machines and the loading and unloading of machines. You will ideally have a background in Steel production and machine operating.

Skills & Experience

• High Risk Work Licence - Forklift or Gantry tickets highly desirable (but not required)

• Machine Operation experience is essential however people with minimal experience are welcome to apply.

• Steel process experience

• Warehousing background is ideal

• Current resume with 2x work related referees

• Available to commence immediately

• A strong work ethic

• Complies, understands and follows WH&S obligations in the workplace.

• High level of self-motivation & ownership
