About the Role

WorkPac is seeking an experienced machinist to join the Fixed Plant Maintenance team at the Rio Tinto Dampier Ports Operations. These port facilities consist of shipping terminals with each terminal having facilities for train unloading, iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be required to operate the manual lathes, mills, slotters, bora and radial drills. Candidates with CNC lathe experience on Mori Seiki equipment will be highly regarded.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a similar position

• Relevant Australian recognised trade certification

• Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)

• Basic understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar is also highly regarded
