About our client
Our client is fully Australian owned and operated dedicated equine feeds manufacturer, specializing in extrusion technology. Our client is one of Australia?s leading manufacturers of high-quality equine feeds.
Duties and responsibilities
Be required to conduct high level fault finding and repairs across the plant.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Immediate Break-down support
Steel fabrication and Manufacturing of Infrastructure and machinery parts
Ensure the plant is in good condition, cleaned and maintained.
Daily/Weekly and Monthly Equipment Inspections
Mechanical maintenance and repairs as required.
Assist the Maintenance manager in developing plans and drawings where required
Assist in developing and implementing manufacturing software to help the efficiency of the maintenance records.
Skills and experience
Exceptional attention to detail
Good communication skills
Experience in WHS practices
Proactive problem solver with a strong can-do attitude
Sound computer knowledge
Available for after hour on call, weekend work and day shift rotation
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience in a manufacturing facility
Experience using MEX desirable not essential
Tickets and Qualifications
Trade certification or equivalent - desirable
Current drivers licence
Valid forklift license desirable not essential
