About the Client

Our client isa privatelyowned business with over 60 years of manufacturing experience providing quality desserts and delicacies. They are currently looking for a Electrical Maintenance Technician with a strong Electrical background to join their growing team in Kunda Park (QLD).

What you will be doing

As a Electrical Maintenance Technician you will required to perform scheduled maintenance, unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting and shift cover where required. You will be required to work Monday to Friday 10pmto 6am. Your core duties will consist of;

• Development and monitoring of routine equipment maintenance? with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance.

• Fault finding, monitoring and maintenance of production equipment.

• Analysing records and identifying opportunities to improve maintenance programs.

• Assist management with costs, estimates for labour hire requirements and budgets.

• Adhering to all quality, food safety, WH&S and environment policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate records in the MEX program.

• Week day and weekend overtime available.

What you will need

• Trade qualified Electrician with strong automated control system aptitude.

• Mechanical fitting experience highly regarded.

• Previous experience in a high volume, automated food manufacturing environment, FMCG highly preferable.

• Knowledge of complex pneumatic systems, packaging machines, conveyors, ovens and mobile plant.

• Experience with stainless steel fabrication and TIG welding

• Previous experience in project work desirable.

• Technical troubleshooting skills

• Experience with the MEX system and/or other CMMS software.

• Valid and current C Class Drivers Licence

• Forklift Licence desirable but not essential.

• Be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and Police check.
