About The Role
WorkPac are seeking Marine Project Advisors to join Rio Tinto's Supply Chain Services team within Sustaining Capital on a FIFO 8/6 roster to the Pilbara. The successful candidates will provide site contractor management, construction expertise and implementation skills to deliver projects safely in a sustainable, timely and cost-effective way.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure that all site construction activities comply with Rio Tinto standards and policies for HSE.
Provide safety leadership and coaching through daily field leadership.
Assist the engineers for quality assurance of project deliverables.
Provide advice on the implementation of construction management plans.
Complete accurate and timely reporting documentation.
Build and maintain collaborative stakeholder and end user engagement on site.
Skills & Experience
Marine experience in construction or maintenance of marine infrastructure.
Qualifications obtained in either Advanced Rigging, Advanced Scaffolding, C6 Crane Operation, Electrical, Heavy Fabrication or Mechanical Fitting.
Current WA C Class Driver's license minimum.
Strong decision-making capability along with ability to work autonomously.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to lead, influence and motivate.
