• $45 Hourly Rate

Job Description

Client is the global leader in the design and manufacturing of wireline products for slickline and electric line applications and is a subsidiary company of National Oilwell Varco Int. Has over 900 people spread across 16 different countries to provide truly global support to our clients. We now have a position for an Mechanical fitter to join the team. The role will involve servicing wireline and slickline pressure control equipment .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review the WO for the task given and understand the job drawings and the work instructions.

• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.

• Prepare the tools and materials as per requirement by the work orders.

• Ensure the job is executed within the time frame provided and update the work order documents as required.

• Conduct hydrostatic tests or FAT of completed parts

• Maintain the tools, instruments and equipment always in a good condition.

• Perform daily/routine tool maintenance and repair minor damages.

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop.

• Comply with all Company and HSE procedures and policies.

• Perform any kind of tasks/duties as requested by the leading hand

• Able to read and understand Hydraulic Schematics, Technical Drawings, Assembly & Work Instructions

• Experience in Hydraulic and Mechanical Assembly desired

• Proficient in the use of all components, equipment, tools and techniques used in a Mechanical/Hydraulic workshop.

• Talent for problem-solving and driving issues to closure.

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, Team player

• The ability to work under pressure and in a pro-active manner.

• Forklift license

• Use of over head crane (Highly desirable)
