About Our Client
Our client is a large-scale Engineering Construction services provider for operations across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific. Specializing in fabrication, installations, project management and shut down maintenance services, our client support one of the largest resource production projects in the Townsville region.

About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for Townsville based site. You will bring your expertise and experience in structural steel and plant maintenance, repair and installation, working on one of the larger project sites in the Townsville region. As a successful candidate you will be engaged through WorkPac on a 3-month contract following a Monday - Saturday roster.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Focused and committed to upholding all safety standards and procedures

• Working on large scale structural steel maintenance

• Installation and repairs of new components to plant

• Comply with all site and client policy's

• Working in Confined spaces

• Working at Heights

Skills and Experience:

• Current Drivers Licence

• Right to Work - Australia

• Trade Qualified - Mechanical Fitter

• Current Working at Heights - Essential requirement

• Current Confined Spaces - Essential requirement

• Must have prior experience in a similar role - Steel work

• Ability to complete Pre-employment medical

• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
