Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

- Permanent Contract or Casual role available

- Permanent: $140k+ | Casual: $78 p/h flat rate

- Located in Kooragang, NSW

- Roster 4 days a week (10hr days) or 5 x 8 hr days

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a casual or permanent basis.

The main duties of the role involve:

To provide frontline mechanical maintenance for the Nitrates Plant facility with the responsibility to maintain the performance of, and engineer improvements for, all mechanical equipment within the Nitrates Plant area to ensure optimal plant uptime and long-term reliability.

Requirements

• Substantial experience with plant shutdowns, and mechanical maintenance in chemical or heavy engineering fields within a continuously operating environment.

• Experienced Mechanical Maintenance technician with trade qualifications as a fitter/ machinist.

• Drivers Licence and reliable transport.

• Substantial experienced with the following systems:

- High Speed Rotating machinery

- Condition Monitoring

- Valves and piping in high pressure environments

- Equipment overhauls

- SAP maintenance management system
