Mechanical Technician

  • Kalgoorlie residential with relocation assistance

  • Full time, permanent position working 4:3 roster

  • 129,000 plus 10.5% superannuation and annual bonuses

What You Will Be Doing

  • Mechanical maintenance to emulsifier, PiBSA and site services

  • Support the operation of the manufacturing facilities within the reserve;

  • Work within the maintenance team and alongside the reliability engineer to develop maintenance solutions that cost effectively

  • Ensuring work practices and environment comply with SH&E standards; and

  • Working with the Production Teams in developing Continuous Improvement Initiatives, from concept through to implementation

What You Will Need

  • Mechanical Fitter/Turner Trade Qualification

  • Maintenance experience in a chemical plant operation or related heavy industry

  • Sound computer skills in MS Office, SAP advantageous

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
