About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to commence at a mine near Middlemount. You will be working a rostered shift with successful candidates starting as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate mining Excavators

• Pre-start checks on machinery

• Thoroughly analyze digging plans to become familiar with the various stages of a project and the estimated timeline for completion

• Communicate with the Supervisory staff regularly to stay informed about any change in plan or procedure

• Survey the grounds conditions at the start and finish of each day shift

Skills and Experience:

• RII/ Training Transcript RIIMPO312

• Minimum 6 Months Experience

• Current Standard 11 or equivalent

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Current Driver's Licence and Right to work within Australia
