About the Role
Workpac are currently seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our client Rio Tinto for a 12 month duration. This role will be FIFO on an 8:6 day shift roster to West Angelas.
Duties and Responsibilities
Spatial data acquisition, processing & provision of plans
Frontline mine survey support
Interface with mine operations
Daily equipment maintenance
Wall monitoring field infrastructure management
Management of survey infrastructure
End Of Month surveys that include all pits, dumps, ROM stockpiles and development works
Installation and management of survey control network
Use of the most modern survey methods approved by RTIO Survey
Skills and Experience
Preferred Background / Industry Experience
Minimum of 2 years Mine Surveying experience.
Proficient in the use of modern Survey equipment and software package experience (UAV?s, Context Capture, Laser scanners, Ri-mining)
Vulcan, or similar mine software
Spatial data management & interpretation skills
Must hold a REPL Licence
