In partnership with Newlands Open Cut Coal mine, WorkPac is now seeking experienced multi skilled civil or quarry operators for the rehabilitation program on site. Experience operating Moxy & Loaders or Moxy & Diggers, Dozers or Scrapers

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Located 33km from the town of Glenden and only 190km from Mackay, our client is one of Australia's largest coal producers, who operate open cut and underground coal mines. Our client is a responsible miner of coal with a track record of excellence in supplying high quality coal.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• We will need 6 civil operators that have either Moxy / loader, Moxy / digger, experience loading a scalper. We can train if they have a Dump Truck and don???t have a Moxy skill. We also need 4 Dozer operators and 2 Scraper operators. If we can't get a scraper we would be looking at 6 dozer operators.

• This is predominantly day shift only 7 & 7 except for a couple of operators that we would have on 7 & 7 day / night running a scalper

• This Rehab work ongoing for 6 years

• $52.23 per hour with an increase 2.5% as per EA in July

• Camp and Meals Provided in Glenden

• Total of 12 operators

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Strong civil or quarry experience

• SSE signed skills list, V.O.C or RIIs

• Current Drivers Licence

• Right to work in Australia

• Current Standard 11 or be willing to attain this (self funded)

• Complete a Drug and Alcohol test prior to commencement (self funded)

• Coal Board Medical (WorkPac can pay for this (excluding specialists))

• Completed Glencore induction course (WorkPac can pay for this)

• Pre-Employment Medical Assessment (WorkPac can pay for this)
