About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Open Cut Examiner to commence at a mine near Blackwater. You will be working a rostered shift with successful candidates starting as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Fulfil the Open Cut Examiner (OCE) obligations in accordance with coal mining legislation and regulation?

• Effectively conduct shift handovers, pre-start and toolbox meetings

• Carry out inspections and job observations

• Coordinating and responding to site incidents

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working as an OCE on a coal mine

• At least 5 years operational mining experience

• S1, S2, S3 Supervisor Qualification?

• G2 Competency?

• Advanced First Aid

• Current Drivers Licence?

• Current Coal Board Medical or willing to obtain?

• Current Standard 11 or willing to obtain?
