ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is operates a long-life open cut mine in the Gunnedah Basin.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking experienced Operators, single-skilled and multi-skilled, to commence in an Open Cut Mine in the Gunnedah Basin. The successful candidates will be able to competently and safely complete 12.5 hour shifts on a rotating DS/ NS lifestyle roster (4/4 : 6/4 : 4/6). As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the clients production requirements and contributing to production growth. This is a bus-in bus-out (BIBO) role from the Gunnedah Shire, with the mine situated 10 minutes North West from Gunnedah centre.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate mobile plant equipment on a 4 panel lifestyle roster, consisting of a minimum of CAT 789 or Hitachi EH3500-3. Experience operating electrics is preferred.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful you will have a minimum of 12 months demonstrated production mining experience with a minimum skillset of Haul Truck. Any additional competencies and pass outs on the below equipment is desired. All competencies will need to be verified by signed VOCs or VOCs (unsigned) supported by RIIs.

You will have a proven track record of operating safely and be a strong team player who positively supports the crew and our clients operations.

Excavator: 3600T Digger

Graders: CAT 16M, 24M

Loaders: CAT 966, 980, 992

Dozers: CAT D10T & D11T, Komatsu 475-8

Dump Trucks (Mechanical): CAT 789C & 789D

Dump Trucks (Electric): Hitachi EH3500-3,EH4000-2,EH5000-3

• Coal Board Medical (Order 43) or willing to obtain
