Outage Stores And Warehouse Coordinator (Sourcing Order)

About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Outage Stores and Warehouse Coordinator to support a major planned outage based in Kwinana.

Key Account abilities:

Safety and Health:

  • Maintain a safe working environment and safe systems of work.

  • Ensure safe work methodologies for high-risk work scopes to be undertaken.

  • Establish safety expectations with team.

  • Undertake safety task audits and area inspections.

  • Monitor safety performance while work is being performed.

The Incumbent is Expected To:

  • Organise the storage and distribution of goods in line with Work order detail.

  • Management of Tool Store, Chemical store and gas storage area???s ensuring asset registers are audited and updated routinely, stocked products are available and the housekeeping of these area???s is maintained.

  • Monitor and control the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse and other storage facilities.

  • Coordinate transportation and logistics of receivables and dispatch by tracking deliveries in line with company procedures.

  • Arrange goods from site storage or suppliers in preparation for scheduled works.

  • Responsible for receipt and dispatch of deliveries.

  • Perform quality check on goods received and before issue, ensuring they are the correct product, right quantity and are not damaged.

  • Document and organise goods for return or repair.

  • Use the forklift to assist in loading and unloading trucks and moving goods around the warehouse and site.

  • Maintain soft copy record of procurement dates, receipt of goods and storage location. Hazardous stock management including SDS and Chem-alert.

  • General cleaning, tidy and organising around site as requested.

General:

  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with Company policies, procedures, rules and guidelines.

  • Work effectively with the site management team to deliver the business and performance objectives.

  • Identify and recommend methods to continually improve processes and resolve problems.

  • Complies with Risk Management, Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management systems.

  • Contribute to a positive HSE culture at the workplace whilst complying with all statutory obligations and company HSE requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years warehouse and stores experience.

  • Intermediate computer literacy including use of Microsoft Office suite

  • Previous experience using or ability to quickly learn use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (SAP).

  • Excellent time management, including the ability to prioritise and multi-task

  • Ability to analyse, think laterally, solve problems, and make decisions within delegation of authority.

  • Demonstrated independence to work autonomously, whilst also engaging harmoniously with a diverse work group of operations and administration personnel.

  • Reliable, with a good attention to detail.

  • Holds a current forklift licence with the ability to operate it competently.

  • Valid and current unrestricted driver???s licence.

  • Knowledge, experience, and ability to apply safe manual handling practises.
