About our Client
Our Client is a well known Mining operator within the Kalgoorlie region an exciting opportunity has become available to join this clients growing team in the WA goldfields. This is a fulltime, permeant residential role that will offer you the luxury of being home every night whilst earning a competitive income of between $90,000 - $100,000 per annum (pending experience).

Duties:

• Conduct risks assessments for field tasks at a team and individual level.

• Complete regular safety inspections of grade control drill rigs and ancillary equipment.

• Assist Geologists & Surveyors in completing ore mark ups, geological mapping, clast hole sampling ensuring no unplanned standby of mining equipment due to ore not being marked up.

• Ensure samples meet the GC QC sampling standards before removal of samples from the drill site.

• Reporting any non-compliance in sampling or drilling technique immediately to the driller and Senior Geologist.

• Maintain electronic records of all sample submissions and drilling completed by the Open Pit Geology team, ensure paper copies and files are accessible.

• Regular stockpile sampling, ensuring data is recorded showing assayed grades.

Skills and Experience :

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

• Current unrestricted C Class WA Manual Drivers Licence

• Satisfactory NPC clearance

• Valid work visa, permanent residency or Australian citizenship
