About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking experienced Asphalt Plant Operators, for ongoing work located around WA. Pay rate of $30.80 per hour Plus Penalties. Candidates will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Operate within required procedures associated with Mobile plant as per FH procedures (truck controller, vehicle movement, VOC)

• Reporting and monitoring of workplace hazards, risks, issues, incidents

• Ensure plant is inducted, fit for purpose, pre-start checks are completed ensuring unsafe plant is tagged / locked out, defects are communicated

• Contribute to development of SWMS and attend toolbox meetings and prestart meetings to address all site requirements

• Follow direction of site foreman

• Assist in Load, unload and move construction equipment to and from worksites

• Accept personal accountability for own decisions and behaviours in performing daily activities

• Ability to assist with all ground work including raking

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous asphalt experience

• HR Licence

• White Card

• Experience with asphalt laying machinery - pavers, screeds, rollers skid steers

• A proven ability to work within an Asphalt team environment

• Ability to Pass a Pre-employment Medical and DAS
