About the Role

WorkPac are seeking multiple Pre-Cast Workers for a variety of roles upcoming within the Tamworth area for our client who is a leading manufacturer of reinforced concrete pipes in Tamworth area.

We are seeking expression of interest for the following roles:

Positions available - Duties & responsibilities

• General production operator -Will be required to use of general range of tools - drill, grinder, etc.

• Reinforcement officer - Will be required to MIG weld, REO welding, use of general tools. follow repeated reo manufacture processes under instruction from their supervisor or leading hand.

• Concrete batcher -Will be required to operate HR Trucks, must have HR Drivers licence, will be required to use computer software, to plan ahead for re-order of raw materials for concrete

• Franna operator & LF Operator-Will be required to operate the Franna and Forklift, must have Franna licence to operate 20T crane & forklift licence, organise daily product loads and work with transport truck drivers to achieve safe & efficient loading.

• Quality control operative - Will be required to read product designs, record information with the use Excel or Google Sheets, conduct concrete testing

• Mould set up -Will be required to conduct stick welding, MIG welding & use grinder, drills & various tools

Skills & Experience

• Experience with precast yards preferred

• Right to work in Australia

• White Card

• Must be reliable and keen to learn

• Demonstrated focus on safety of themselves and workmates

• Must be a team player, yet also have the ability to work independently.
